7-Eleven Malaysia is making a
difference in the community with its Semurni Kasih campaign held in conjunction
during the holy month of Ramadan. The campaign which is part of 7-Eleven
Community Care program aims to foster a deep connection with the grassroots
community and this season of giving means a lot to the Muslim community and in
understanding the plight of the less fortunate.

More Than 920 Varsity Students in Klang Valley Received
Pre-Packed Meals
The convenience store giant gave
away pre-packed 7Café by 7-Eleven Ready-to-Eat meals to 920 students from three
universities: - University Malaya (UM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM),
and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) which was delivered by the 7-Eleven team
to the three locations.
“We are so grateful to be able to share this with these students. Support from our employees and customers has been instrumental for us to reach out to our grassroots communities. Their commitment has made it possible to be a changemaker to more communities each year,” said Chin Hor Wai, General Manager of Marketing, 7-Eleven Malaysia.
Semurni Kasih has been a staple
in the 7-Eleven corporate social responsibility initiative to support
charitable causes in the communities where it operates.
With the tagline "You
Contribute, We Distribute," the campaign featured donation boxes in our
nationwide stores for both food and non-food items. They facilitated the
distribution to those in need, promoting the initiative through social media
and in-store displays.
